“I don’t even know how to begin at explaining how truly wonderful Lee & Jane are. Myself and my husband met them at a wedding show and fell in love immediately. They are so friendly and immediately put us at ease. We later met for a drink at out venue to discuss options and it felt like we were meeting two friends. 

Due to Covid out wedding was postponed for a year and of all the suppliers to rearrange, we knew Hurst Impressions was the one we needed to ensure we’re available for any new date. They made the process simple and easy and understood how disappointed we were and always sent an encouraging and positive message to make use smile. 

On the lead up to the day we were extremely nervous about having our photographs taken, we are very photo shy, but Lee & Jane put us immediately at ease.

The wedding day was perfect and part of that was because Lee & Jane were a part of it. They went above and beyond for our day and we cannot thank them enough. The photographs we received are more beautiful than we ever dreamed and captured our day perfectly. 

Not only were Lee & Jane our wedding photographers but we also consider them friends.

“Well where do I start with these two tremendously amazing people!!! I met Lee and Jane in 2019 as soon as I saw them that was it I was in love. 

With in seconds of talking to them they made me feel like I’d known them for years. They were and are so welcoming and kind. Lee and Jane filled my heart with excitement and nerves (good ones) 

They spoke to me about what I wanted and how I wanted it as being Italian and having lots of traditions and regulations, then marrying a Moroccan and following some rituals from his side we didn’t make it easy for them at all. 

We was due to get married in October 2020 then covid struck and we had to postpone to 2021. They were more than happy to change the date for us. In the meantime we kept in contact throughout. Lee and Jane felt more like family to us rather than two people just doing there job. 

Me and my husband both have the traditions of having pre wedding shoots and Lee and Jane went above and beyond to accommodate this taking us to the most beautiful places. 

After spending quite a bit of time with Lee and Jane we noticed how caring and loving they are towards each other. Exact soul mates! which also made our experience with them both even more magical.  

Mr and Mrs Hurst took so much time for us from the littlest detail to the biggest one!! 

After a lot of stress with covid we finally got to have our day. We are so lucky to have found two people like Lee and Jane and I couldn’t recommend them enough!!! If I could go back I’d pick you both all over again.”

You both are wonderful and went beyond capturing and making our wedding beautiful so we can treasure those special moments for years to come. x

Lee & Jane are very nice and caring people, which really made communicating with them about what we wanted on our wedding a breeze. To be fair they did more than I thought a normal photographer will do. They even set out schedule for us and making sure all our family group members photos was taken (we had a lot of family pictures). All our family and guest loved them both, and the candid pictures was captured at its best.

The finished products was beautiful, especially the slide video! Show they took time to edit and picked the best photos for the slide. Well worth the wait to see all the pictures. We definitely will recommend “Hurst Impressions”

“What can I say? There is too much. If you want mainly natural, candid photos using the natural light mixed with incredible staged shots, this is honestly your go to couple. They are professional, friendly, supportive and flexible. They are hard working and go to almost anything length to make sure the right shot is got and you’re happy. Hired for our wedding photos, we postponed and postponed (thanks covid!) but we were desperate not to change vendors – thankfully we didn’t have too! Lee and Jane even put a photo slideshow together for us with background music which is simply stunning and a USB with all our photos within a beautiful inscribed box.  Absolutely no regrets and incredible value for money. We love you both!”

“We really couldn’t recommend Jane and Lee enough to people. They really are fantastic at their job, you can tell they both love photography. They made us (a couple who aren’t a fan of photos!) everybody else at the wedding comfortable and at ease and caught some wonderful photos, both natural and posed. The way they captured our day including natural and posed photos gave us the best memories of our day. 

They were edited perfectly and sent to us with a beautiful engraved usb stick and including a gorgeous slide shows of our day. We quickly received a ‘sample’ of our wedding photos, which actually included 75 pics! By having two photographers on our day meant we didn’t miss any of the getting ready or guests arriving at the venue. The way they work together is seamless. Not only did they act as our photographers, but they kept us organised the day for us too, and for us that’s a big task!  

Being a covid couple, we had to change dates multiple times including a slight change of plans!! We ended up being a vow renewal instead of the original planned wedding and had a little plus one along the way! Jane and Lee were so understanding every step and date change we had. They were so helpful and understanding and we can’t thank them enough for helping to make our day so special, and capturing the moments so beautifully. 

All our guests were highly impressed with Jane and Lee and by the end of the night everyone felt they were guests as they fitted in so wonderfully and put everyone at ease. Thank you once again!”

“We met Lee and Jane at a wedding fair about 5 years ago. I instantly knew that they were different to any other photographer that I’d ever met, they weren’t at all pushy and just took the time to speak to us about us and what we were looking for. 

When we eventually booked our wedding I knew right away that before officially tying the date down I needed to know that they were available. From the offset Lee and Jane were just so amazing and having Jane there on the morning of the wedding was an absolute godsend (I actually wouldn’t have gotten in my dress without her) she was so calming and just so reassuring and my bridesmaids loved her. “We booked Hurst Impressions for our wedding in May and have nothing but amazing things to say about them. Lee and Jane are two of the nicest people you could hope to meet. We knew from our very first meeting that we’d love them to capture our special day. They’re warm, friendly and it felt like we’d known them both for years. 

We had to rearrange due to covid and plans were constantly changing due to ever changing restrictions, but Lee and Jane made it all so easy and were so understanding and helpful on all matters. Fast forward to the day itself and they were fantastic! Everyone commented on how lovely they both were, how they fit right in and how they thought they were already friends of ours (feel we’ve made two new friends ). They captured everything so perfectly, even staying later than planned at the last minute due to a change in plans again, which we were so grateful for! “We can’t imagine having a better experience with any photographers than we had with Lee and Jane. From our first meeting they were very friendly and welcoming, we knew that they were the photographers we wanted for our day. 

We got married during the summer of 2020, which meant that all plans were up in the air until the last minute due to the pandemic and associated national restrictions. Lee and Jane were flexible and reassuring during this time, and were able to accommodate our changing circumstances. 

As expected, on the day they were amazing. They had researched the local area and found the perfect spot for taking the photos, and produced wonderful images that we will always treasure. They took the effort to make all the guests in the photographs comfortable, all the while ensuring a light and natural atmosphere.

“Where do we start with Lee and Jane, they are genuinely some of the nicest people you will meet. If you want something personal and tailored to you, these are the people! And the amazing photos are a huge bonus! We found Lee and Jane on addtoevent but felt unsure just booking from a website, we got in touch and asked if they were attending any wedding fairs in the next few weeks so we could meet. 

They were helpful from the start and couldn’t have made us both feel more at ease. We met them at the Magna centre in Sheffield and it honestly felt as if you were meeting friends. They took the time to get to know us (2 hours in the pub!), visit the venue and the church and the end result was more than we could have wished for. They managed to get everything in that we wanted and were so relaxed throughout the day; it was like having 2 extra guests! They were really discrete and captured some really special moments with us and our guests.

We were lucky enough to have Lee and Jane photograph our wedding. On first meeting we got a lovely personable feeling from them both and they certainly bought that to our special day too.

Lee photographed the men in the morning and Jane the women. I was so touched that they remembered the names of our family members we had discussed prior, it was lovely when they came to join us and spoke to our family by name. Throughout the day they were professional, flexible where needed and gained the perfect shots of our day. We would not have wanted anyone else to have done it for us
